Introduction:
This infographic, gets into the wonderful world of sex and exposes some odd factoids that you might not have known.
Information: ★★★★★
I mean, c’mon, who doesn’t want to read about sex? What makes this infographic unique though, is that the information isn’t just the same old, rehashed junk that many articles or other infographics regurgitate to us. There’s a few bits of info in there that seem genuinely unique and practical (I assume everyone is happier now that more women are experiencing more orgasms). The information here makes the infographic feel genuinely useful.
Design: ★★★★
At the beginning of this infographic, the design was compelling. The colors were bright and complimented the stimulating subject matter, and the changing, intertwining positions of the script also mirrored the *cough* subject matter. However, towards the end the infographic felt a little busy and hurried (which we can all now joke that this must’ve been written by a man). Overall though, the design was fluid and didn’t interfere with the information.
Creativity: ★★★★
Again, the colors and script were creative, and the information was accessible but there did not seem to be an abundance of creativity put into this infographic. It was functional and served its purpose, but the miss-mash of graphics and photos made the piece feel like it was done just before the deadline. There’s nothing uncreative about it, but it feels like it could have definitely be done in a more creative and thought-provoking way.
Conclusion:
This infographic makes you want to read it numerous times and not just because of the subject matter. Due to the creative use of design and the unique information presented, this infographic succeeds in all the important areas. Now, excuse me while I go re-read it again.
